About The Position
Washington Ave Animal Hospital is a modern, full-service small animal practice located in the heart of Philadelphia's vibrant Graduate Hospital neighborhood. Our team is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate veterinary care while building lasting relationships with pets and their families. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment where collaboration, medical excellence, and exceptional client service come together. The clinic sees an average of 15-17 appointments per day with a support staff ratio of 2-2.5 technicians per doctor. The case mix includes wellness and preventative care, sick appointments, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, urgent cases managed during daytime hours, and advanced diagnostics. The clinic is equipped with a large treatment area, multiple exam rooms, in-house diagnostics, digital imaging, and modern medical equipment. The team culture is collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented, valuing positive attitudes, teamwork, and outstanding care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
