Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • A valid state license and in good standing to practice.
  • A collaborative spirit and a dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly attitude.

  • Interest in preventative care, wellness exams, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, urgent/same-day care, pain management, and client education.

  • Experience in comprehensive medicine and pursuing individual clinical interests.

Responsibilities

  • Practice small-animal general medicine in an AAHA-accredited hospital.
  • Provide a broad range of medical, surgical, diagnostic, and urgent care services.
  • Conduct preventative care and wellness exams.
  • Manage internal medicine cases.
  • Perform diagnostics and dentistry.
  • Conduct soft-tissue surgery and urgent/same-day care.
  • Provide pain management and client education.
  • Engage in advanced surgical opportunities such as advanced soft tissue and orthopedics.
  • Lead patient care from diagnosis to treatment.
  • Communicate findings and treatment plans to clients.
  • Collaborate with a supportive paraprofessional team.
