About The Position

Springer Animal Hospital, part of the VetStrategy group, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian for their clinic in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. This clinic offers on-call, after-hours services to small and large animal patients in the surrounding areas. Sturgeon Falls is a charming town located between North Bay and Sudbury, known for its outdoor activities and local attractions. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Flexible and adaptable to evolving veterinary practices and technologies.
  • Capable of handling a variety of cases and situations with composure and professionalism.
  • Ability to build strong and trusting relationships with clients.
  • Effective communication skills, understanding of client relationship management and education.
  • Empathy for animals and their owners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver world-class veterinary care, locally.
  • Provide on-call, after-hours services to small and large animal patients.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced and passionate professionals on a diverse range of cases.
  • Utilize cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment equipment.
  • Interpret digital radiographs with access to radiologist interpretation 24/7 within 2 hours.
  • Work in a state-of-the-art clinic with advanced medical equipment and technology.
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with clients.
  • Educate clients on animal health.
  • Handle a variety of cases and situations with composure and professionalism.
  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
