About The Position

CityVet South Austin is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role offers a balanced caseload with a variety of cases, from preventative care to advanced surgeries, in a collaborative and well-supported environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in surgery and dentistry, be confident working with complex cases, and thrive in a high-energy, creative, and collaborative setting. This position is suitable for a full-time or part-time Associate DVM interested in general practice. The hospital is fully equipped with advanced diagnostics and surgical care, including ultrasound, digital dental radiographs, Abaxis analyzers, OptiCell, Imagyst, therapeutic cold laser, cautery, a large surgical suite, and treatment area.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice in this state or eligible for licensure.
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• Interest in General Practice and/or Urgent Care medicine.
• Strong knowledge and experience with surgery and dentistry.
• Open to working a flexible schedule with rotating weekends.
