About The Position
Vineyard Veterinary Clinic is seeking an Associate Veterinarian for their small animal and exotics practice on Martha’s Vineyard. This role offers a diverse caseload including general practice, urgent care, and walk-in cases, treating dogs, cats, and exotics such as small mammals, birds, and reptiles. The clinic provides strong mentorship for new graduates and is equipped with modern facilities and equipment including digital dental x-rays, ultrasound, cautery, and a full in-house lab. The practice emphasizes high-quality, science-based medicine with a Fear-Free approach to patient care and client communication. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Active veterinary state license (or ability to obtain one)
Nice To Haves
- DEA License and USDA Accreditation preferred but not required
- Mentorship available for new grads in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
- Training and mentorship available for exotic pet medicine
