About The Position

Alamo Area Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join their thriving, full-service hospital. The clinic provides exceptional medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals and equine patients. Their facility is equipped with a surgical suite, digital and dental radiography, and in-house IDEXX laboratories. The clinic is located in Castroville, TX, offering a blend of small-town charm and proximity to San Antonio. The practice is a mixed animal practice, but they are only hiring for a Small Animal DVM. The role involves a busy, well-paced general practice caseload with strong technician and CSR support. The case mix includes wellness & preventive care, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and internal medicine. The clinic utilizes digital X-ray, in-house lab diagnostics, and modern surgical and monitoring equipment. The team culture is collaborative, mentorship-driven, and client-focused, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and respect.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Texas veterinary license or eligibility.
• Strong clinical skills.
