About The Position

Elko Veterinary Clinic is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join the largest and busiest veterinary clinic in Northeastern Nevada. This role offers a high production potential and orthopedic mentorship. Our mixed-animal practice provides general, urgent, and emergency care for companion animals, equine patients, livestock, and exotics. The clinic has a consistently busy caseload, offering significant opportunity for doctors to build production and increase their overall earnings. The clinic is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with a particular interest in doctors who want to learn more about orthopedic surgery, as the team performs many advanced orthopedic procedures and can provide mentorship.

Requirements

DVM
Open to experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Desire to learn and develop orthopedic surgery skills.

Nice To Haves

Interest in orthopedic surgery.
Experience with TPLO, TTA, Interlocking nail, External fixation, Toggle pin, and Plate and screw fracture repair.

Responsibilities

Provide general, urgent, and emergency care for companion animals, equine patients, livestock, and exotics.
Perform wellness and dentistry services.
Conduct advanced diagnostics.
Perform soft tissue surgery.
Perform orthopedic procedures including TPLO, TTA, Interlocking nail, External fixation, Toggle pin, and Plate and screw fracture repair.
Utilize medical and surgical abilities to their fullest extent with the support of technicians and assistants.
