About The Position
Landisville Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian to join their experienced team. This position is suitable for both new graduates and experienced veterinarians. The clinic offers mentorship and training for early-career DVMs, as well as a diverse range of medical and surgical cases for experienced clinicians. The practice focuses on small animals, with some pocket pets and exotics, providing wellness services and treatments for sick patients. They utilize advanced diagnostics, soft tissue surgery expertise, and dentistry care. The hospital is well-equipped with an in-house lab, digital x-ray, diagnostic imaging tools, video endoscopy, otoscopy, and ultrasound.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA accredited university, or equivalent.
- Active veterinarian license to practice in the state of PA, or license-eligible.
- Experience in companion animal wellness and preventive care medicine.
- Interest in general surgery and/or general dentistry.
- Commitment to the highest standard of medicine.
- Passion for improving patient outcomes and driving clinic success.
Responsibilities
- Practice veterinary medicine with an experienced team.
- Provide mentorship and training (for new grads).
- Handle a robust mix of medicine and surgery cases.
- Perform wellness services and treat sick patients.
- Utilize advanced diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry care.
- Operate in-house lab, digital x-ray, and diagnostic imaging tools.
