About The Position

IndeVets is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian for Forest Lake, MN. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing veterinarian wellbeing by replacing rigid contracts with sustainable career paths. You will have control over your schedule, guaranteed income, and hands-on support from a trusted community. As a full-time W-2 veterinarian working 4-5 days per week, you will build a schedule in advance with the help of a dedicated scheduling coordinator, ensuring clarity and predictability. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional PTO. You will practice across a network of trusted hospital partners, gaining diverse clinical experience and building relationships with teams. Opportunities to include surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care shifts are available when possible. This model provides the consistency, benefits, and professional support of a full-time employer without income uncertainty or last-minute schedule gaps.

Requirements

  • DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
  • Active license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
  • Confidence practicing independently
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
