About The Position

Animal Hospital of Wilkes is a well-established, five-doctor small animal practice that has been serving the Wilkesboro community for over 65 years. They are known for compassionate care, collaborative teamwork, and high-quality medicine. They are seeking an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys building client relationships, values teamwork, and desires the support and resources to practice medicine effectively. The practice serves dogs and cats with a full range of services including preventive care, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic procedures, dentistry, diagnostics, urgent care, and boarding. They offer a supportive environment with experienced staff and a loyal clientele.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Eligible for or currently licensed to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service
• Collaborative mindset and positive attitude

• Perform wellness and preventive care examinations
