About The Position

Lake Veterinary Clinic in Mount Dora, FL is seeking a compassionate, skilled Associate Veterinarian to join their small-animal practice caring for dogs and cats. The clinic offers a collaborative team environment in a friendly clinic near Long Lake and downtown Mount Dora. The role involves providing high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for canine and feline patients, performing diagnostics, interpreting results, and developing treatment plans. The veterinarian will also communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about diagnoses, prognoses, and preventive care, collaborate with team members to ensure efficient clinic operations and excellent patient outcomes, and maintain medical records while following clinic protocols and safety standards. The clinic provides modern in-clinic diagnostics including digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house lab, and dental equipment.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Active veterinary state license
