About The Position

IndeVets is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Louisville, KY. We offer a unique employment model designed to provide stability, support, and control to veterinary careers. As a full-time W-2 veterinarian working 4-5 days per week, you will have the ability to build a schedule you control by choosing your preferred workdays. A dedicated scheduling coordinator will build your schedule in advance, offering clarity and predictability. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will receive a guaranteed salary as a foundation, with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts. These extra shifts can be paid out or converted into additional Paid Time Off (PTO). You will practice across a network of trusted hospital partners, gaining diverse clinical experience. We aim to include shifts in surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care when possible. This role provides the consistency, benefits, and professional support of a full-time employer, eliminating income uncertainty and last-minute schedule gaps. We emphasize practicing medicine your way, without production quotas, negative accrual, or restrictive non-competes, focusing on patient care rather than numbers. You will have dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, and a collaborative community of fellow veterinarians. Additionally, access to a veterinary social worker and ongoing CE and professional development opportunities are provided. This model is designed to prevent burnout and foster career growth through leadership and mentorship opportunities, exposure to diverse clinical settings, and flexibility to evolve your schedule over time.
