About The Position
All Creatures Pet Hospital is a general practice hospital with a strong focus on small animal and exotic medicine. The team sees a wide variety of cases, including reptiles, pocket pets, birds, and the occasional wildlife case, while still maintaining a strong base of small animal clientele. This role offers variety, collaboration, and the opportunity to continue growing skills. The clinic has a strong small animal foundation that also sees exotics, including reptiles, birds, and pocket pets. They have the tools, equipment, and experienced support staff to support exotic medicine, but exotics experience is not required. Whether you’re looking to continue growing your exotic skillset or focus primarily on small animal medicine, you’ll feel supported here. The practice type is GP/Exotics with a support staff ratio of 2:1. The case mix includes wellness, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and exotics. Technology and equipment include Digital X-ray, in-house labs, and updated cloud-based PIMS. The team culture is described as collaborative, inclusive, and supportive.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
- Strong communication and client-education skills
- Experience with or interest in exotics
