About The Position
CityVet Alexandria King Street is hiring an Associate Veterinarian for a Hybrid GP + Urgent Care role that combines interesting medical cases with the ability to build long-term client relationships while maintaining excellent work-life balance. This role is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy diagnostic problem solving, urgent care medicine, and collaborative team environments. The hospital offers comprehensive veterinary services including preventive and wellness care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, urgent care services, and advanced diagnostics. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
- Licensed in Virginia, or eligible for licensure
- Interest in General Practice and/or Urgent Care medicine
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to excellent patient care

Responsibilities
- See a mix of scheduled GP wellness and sick visits
- Handle urgent care walk-in cases
- Perform soft tissue surgeries
- Conduct medical workups and diagnostics
