About The Position

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in the St. Augustine Beach, FL area and surrounding regions. This role offers an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice, focusing on compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The position emphasizes professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and a balanced life. As a mobile veterinarian, you will provide end-of-life care, a service that is deeply appreciated and emotionally rewarding. You will join a community of over 400 veterinarians and support professionals, benefiting from ongoing training, mentorship, and dedicated practice managers. Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Conduct an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day.
• Manage paperwork efficiently to allow more time with families.
