About The Position
Animal Health Care Associates is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team on Martha's Vineyard. This practice has been serving the community for over 45 years and focuses on high-quality medicine and strong client relationships. The role involves practicing comprehensive medicine with an experienced team, primarily caring for dogs and cats, with opportunities for occasional equine and large animal patients. Doctors are encouraged to practice to the fullest extent of their training, performing a wide range of surgical and medical procedures in-house. The hospital offers advanced diagnostics and treatment capabilities and is planning for future expansion. The practice also participates in a collaborative after-hours emergency rotation with other local veterinary hospitals.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
- Active veterinary state license (or ability to obtain one).
- Proficient in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
- Experience with dogs and cats.
- Ability to practice advanced medicine and perform surgical procedures.

- DEA License and USDA Accreditation.
