About The Position

Desert Veterinary Clinic is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Yuma, Arizona. The clinic has been serving the community for over 30 years and is an AAHA accredited hospital. They are looking for veterinarians to meet the growing demand from the pet population. The clinic offers a collaborative and teaching-focused environment with a team of skilled nurses and doctors who are willing to mentor new graduates or experienced veterinarians. The clinic is a busy general practice that also handles mixed, exotics, and orthopedics cases. They are equipped with modern technology including digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house labs, a dental suite, surgical laser, and a CT machine. The clinic emphasizes strong client relationships built on trust, compassion, stability, and communication.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
Strong communication and client-education skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in general practice, mixed, exotics, or orthopedics.
Willingness to mentor new graduates or be mentored as an established vet.
