About The Position

CityVet Mansfield is seeking a part-time or full-time Veterinarian for a unique hybrid role combining General Practice and Urgent Care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the excitement of emergency medicine as well as new patient wellness exams, managing medical cases, and building lasting client relationships. Comfort with urgent care surgical procedures or a willingness to learn is essential. The position offers the opportunity to partner with Dr. Barber, the owner, in a practice that prioritizes pet well-being, client communication, and excellent medical practice. The clinic is located in Mansfield, TX, a DFW suburb known for its blend of small-town charm and modern growth. The clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including full abdominal ultrasounds, digital radiographs (including dental), laser therapy, and a comprehensive surgical suite.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice in this state or eligible for licensure.
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• Interest in General Practice and/or Urgent Care medicine.
• Comfort with urgent care surgical procedures or a willingness to learn (e.g., foreign bodies, c-sections).
