About The Position

Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Associate Veterinarian to join our busy, well-equipped small animal practice. We provide high-quality medicine and surgery in a supportive environment that prioritizes professional growth, work–life balance, and excellent patient care. Our Veterinarians develop a relationship with our clients and partner with them to deliver the highest quality patient care possible. They treat each pet individually to minimize stress, anxiety or discomfort, and stay up-to-date with innovative and emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols and equipment. Collaboration and teamwork within the hospital are essential, as is helping to continue developing the support team. The ideal candidate will treat every client like family and each patient like their own pet.

Requirements

Full Time OR Part Time Veterinarian
Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
Proficient in general medicine and surgery
Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university
Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
Active Veterinary State License
USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire

Responsibilities
