Part Time Associate Veterinarian - Tucson, AZ
About The Position
IndeVets offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing associate well-being through sustainable career paths, schedule control, and guaranteed income. As a part-time W-2 veterinarian working 1-3 days per week, you will have a guaranteed salary with a schedule you control by choosing your preferred workdays. A dedicated scheduling coordinator will build your schedule in advance, providing predictability for your life outside of work. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary as a foundation, with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional PTO. You will practice across a variety of trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the consistency, support, and stability of a single employer. Opportunities to include shifts in surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care are available when possible. This model eliminates the need for shift searching and weekly schedule rebuilding, offering a structured and sustainable way to stay connected to veterinary work.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
