About The Position

Cornerstone Animal Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing accessible and affordable veterinary care, focusing on spay/neuter, preventative vaccination, and basic wellness. The organization aims to bridge the gap for pet guardians who need essential veterinary services. Cornerstone is seeking a full- or part-time veterinarian who is passionate about providing compassionate, culturally competent, and non-judgmental care, and who is comfortable offering incremental care. The role primarily involves performing high-volume spay/neuter surgeries (25+ per shift) for client-owned and shelter/rescue animals, and overseeing vaccine clinic technician appointments. While spay/neuter experience is a plus, training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers excellent work-life balance with a 4-day workweek and no on-call duties or extensive client interaction.

Requirements

DVM (or equivalent) from an AVMA-accredited program.
California veterinary license (or ability to obtain).
DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
A collaborative clinician committed to compassionate, accessible care and continuous improvement and learning.
