About The Position

Lefferts Animal Hospital is a well-established, progressive, 8-doctor general practice seeing companion animal patients located in Richmond Hill, NY. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including Preventative Care, Surgery, Emergency & Urgent Care, High Speed Dentistry, Surgical CO2 Laser, Cold Laser Therapy, In-House Diagnostics, Digital full body and dental radiology, Ultrasonography, Acupuncture, House Calls & More. Mentoring available for new graduates and no emergency hours. Our Veterinarians develop a relationship with our clients and partner with them to deliver the highest quality patient care possible. They treat each pet individually to minimize stress, anxiety or discomfort, and stay up-to-date with innovative and emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols and equipment. Veterinarians collaborate and function as a team within the hospital, help to continue developing the support team, and treat every client like family and each patient like their own pet.

Requirements

Full Time OR Part Time Veterinarian
Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university
Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
Active Veterinary State License
Proficient in general medicine and surgery
