About The Position

We are looking for an Associate Unmanned System Project Manager (Drone Pilot) to join our Smart Grid team in West Palm Beach, FL. Employees in this job will operate as an Unmanned Aircraft (UA) pilot who will be flying an under 55lb drone on a daily basis. They will be tasked with creating daily flight plans, conducting flights, and recording all safety and flight data to work with business analysts in creating the safety case for the project with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Requirements

• Associate's or Equivalent Experience
• 1+ years of experience
• Valid Driver's License (NON-CDL)
• FAA Part 107 Certificate

Responsibilities

• The UAS Pilot is responsible for safety during all phases of flight
• Assuring the Aircraft meets airworthiness specifications before operation
• Can analyze weather and hazards pertaining to the intended flight path
• Use ADM and CRM to make the best decisions ensuring safety and success
• Ensure safe transport of Aircraft using truck and trailer
• Create and update documentation as it pertains to the flight operation
• Creating daily flight plans
• Conducting daily flights in accordance with regulations
• Executes and records all safety and flight data
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
