About The Position

At Regions, the Associate Trust Advisor builds the foundational skills, knowledge, and expertise needed to advance to an advisor role, with mentorship from a senior advisor. The position focuses on administering and servicing an assigned book of business and is designed to prepare the associate for the complexity of a traditional Trust Advisor role. This full-time position is incentive eligible and exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act; it is not eligible for overtime pay. The role is located at RSA Battle House Tower in Mobile, Alabama.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
One year of Trust Administration, Estate/Tax Law, Financial Planning, or relevant experience.
Proficient sales, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of foundational trust principles and regulatory tax matters related to the administration of trust accounts.

Responsibilities

Establish new client relationships and provide advisory services and support to existing assigned client relationships.
Assign accounts for administration.
Partner with Trust Advisors as a relationship-management point of contact, providing administrative support to key clients.
Execute client servicing requirements.
Conduct annual relationship reviews for clients.
Perform perpetual discovery by assessing clients’ financial situations to retain and grow client relationships.
Communicate and deliver the Private Wealth Management mission and vision statement.
