Associate Triage Analyst
About The Position
Proofpoint's People Centric Managed Services (PCMS) is seeking an Associate Triage Analyst to support alert triage and operational checks for supported systems. Proofpoint PCMS provides information protection that delivers visibility into data risk by analyzing content, behavior, and threats from a cloud-native console, helping stop data loss while reducing operational time and cost. The Associate Triage Analyst (ATA) is responsible for assisting with the monitoring of events for Proofpoint PCMS customers and escalating necessary events through approved escalation paths. This role also supports internal teams and customers by assisting with reporting and operational metrics. All tasks must be performed in accordance with the company's ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS). This includes participating in annual information and network security training and accepting ad hoc spot checks to support the continuous improvement of Proofpoint's ISMS. Team members are expected to understand the importance of the ISMS and the proper handling of customer data.
Requirements
- Experience analyzing data within large data sets.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Assist with monitoring events for Proofpoint PCMS customers.
- Escalate necessary events to customers using approved escalation paths.
- Assist customers and internal teams with metrics and reporting from security platforms.
- Assist with improving monitoring and alerting for Proofpoint PCMS customers.
- Perform all responsibilities in accordance with the company's ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) requirements.
- Participate in annual information and network security training.
- Support ad hoc ISMS spot checks and follow established processes for handling customer data.
