About The Position

This function focuses on individuals responsible for restructuring problem or non-performing loans. Responsible for restructuring loans when counterparties do not meet the original conditions of the loan and asset recovery. The loan workout group (in conjunction with senior bank management and corporate relationship management staff) directs its efforts to limiting losses on outstanding problem loans or non-performing loans. Day-to-day focus is on resolution of complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes. Role at this level usually has full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.

Requirements

• Experience in restructuring problem or non-performing loans.
• Experience in restructuring loans when counterparties do not meet the original conditions of the loan.
• Experience in asset recovery.
• Experience in limiting losses on outstanding problem loans or non-performing loans.
• Expertise in resolution of complex problems or transactions.
• Expertise in interpreting against policies, guidelines or processes.
• Ability to have full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures or products.
• Ability to represent a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.
