About The Position

The Associate, Transaction Strategy role is an integral part of the Centennial Yards team. This position offers a supportive, growth-oriented environment and valuable exposure to a variety of projects across multiple real estate sectors, including multifamily, office, retail, and hospitality, as well as a wide range of transaction structures Centennial Yards may pursue. Beyond real estate, the role provides exposure to other strategic investments such as private infrastructure, digital signage, and partnership/sponsorship sales. Based in Atlanta, GA, this role will support the senior leadership team of Centennial Yards Company, an affiliate of CIM Group, with evaluating and executing new business opportunities. Key aspects of the role include data-driven research and market analysis, identifying and communicating key risks and mitigants in a professional format, and managing workstreams with strong organizational skills.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in real estate development, finance, or capital markets
  • Quantitative aptitude
  • Excellent excel financial modeling skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A strong understanding of the commercial real estate market
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
  • A demonstrated interest in learning about the Real Estate investment and development space
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of summarizing information from various sources into a cohesive and thoughtful summary or analysis
  • Self-motivated, highly organized
  • Critical thinker that is adaptable to new concepts, structures, and business opportunities that Centennial Yards may pursue
