About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Tool Coordinator to join our Material Maintenance Operations team in San Antonio, TX. This position satisfies manufacturing requirements for non-production materials, tools and shop supplies. It involves analyzing products to ensure compliance to process requirements, identifying and recommending appropriate solutions to meet manufacturing and process requirements, and facilitating the acquisition of authorized commodities to meet requirements. The role also includes reviewing inventory stock usage to ensure cost-effective use of resources. The Associate Tool Coordinator will satisfy requirements for non-production materials, portable tools (capital/expense), perishable tools, and shop supplies in support of manufacturing by utilizing inventory management systems and processes. They will analyze products using industry specifications, procedures, engineering product definition, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with processing requirements. Additionally, they will identify and recommend appropriate solutions by analyzing manufacturing processes and requirements, and facilitate the acquisition of commodities authorized by manufacturing using procurement systems and processes. Finally, they will review inventory stock usage to utilize resources cost-effectively by following inventory management systems, methodologies, and processes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with warehouse inventory including tools accuracy and accountability
  • 1+ years of experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system
  • Experience using a computer to complete work-related activities
  • Ability to work rotating and/or variable shifts to support mission requirements and workload
  • Must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
