About The Position

Entitled Futures (eF) is an emotional competence consultancy focusing on tailored behavioral health strategies for public, private, and non-profit organizations. EF is dedicated to enhancing the mental resilience of youth ages 12-25, through drop-in therapy and peer mentoring programs. Providing the tools they need to shape their destinies and contribute to a thriving society by instilling a sense of entitlement to a bright future. We are seeking associate therapists recently graduated from accredited programs, looking for supervised clinical hours. Associates will provide direct mental health support and therapeutic services to middle and high school students in our school-based wellness spaces. This is a unique opportunity to gain clinical hours in a real-world, community-centered environment under licensed supervision.

Requirements

• Master's in counseling or related field on the path to licensure
• Unlicensed applicants must be registered as an Associate with BBS prior to the beginning of the school year.
• Interest in school-based or youth-focused mental health
• Commitment to social justice, inclusion, and mental health equity

Nice To Haves

• Ability to speak Spanish is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of 8-10 middle or high school students for individual counseling
• Provide family support, consultation, and therapeutic intervention when appropriate
• Work cooperatively with school personnel
• Accompany staff counselors and provide classroom education on topics such as substance abuse prevention and positive school interaction when needed
• Keep accurate, timely, clinical records (including documentation, assessments, and treatment plans)
• Maintain trauma-informed, culturally competent practices in all work with youth
