About The Position

Our client, a leading semiconductor client, is looking for an Associate Test Engineer 2 (Shift 2). Duration: Long -Term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension) Location: Milpitas, CA Pay Rate: $37.40 - $39.60/hr on W2 Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401K Schedule: Day Shift Training Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Post -Training Shift: 4 PM - 2:30 AM (with a 30 -minute lunch break) Overtime: Opportunities to work overtime during regular shifts; weekends are optional.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
Recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform set -up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at system level.
Determine and may develop methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems, and complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set -up of specialized test equipment.
Hands -on experience in electro -mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repair
Ability to work in a clean room environment is required.
Experience with systems development and testing, including formulating system level requirements, test specifications and test results.
Hands on experience using Oscilloscopes and DVM analysis tools and equipment is preferred.
Use and manipulate a variety of fine adjustment hand tools, torque wrenches and calipers.
