About The Position

The Associate Test Engineer works in KLA’s Global Operations organization, which encompasses Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality. The role supports production and new-product manufacturing by building and testing cameras and printed circuit assemblies, maintaining manufacturing documentation, and troubleshooting hardware. The position calls for a technically capable, independent worker who collaborates effectively with engineers and colleagues and can work overtime, day or night shifts, and weekends.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4–6 years of related experience.
• Technical school background with BSEE, as stated in the posting.
• Ability to work independently with limited support from engineering and management.
• Willingness to work overtime, day or night shifts, and weekends.
• Broad technical understanding of printed circuit boards.
• Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level.
• Strong technical skills and demonstrated engineering problem-solving ability.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative working style.
• Ability to update documents to support a repeatable manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Build and test cameras and printed circuit assemblies in the production area.
• Update documentation as needed to support a repeatable manufacturing process.
• Work with engineers to bring new products into manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot hardware down to the component level.
