About The Position

The Associate Technology Solutions Analyst is responsible for assisting with automating processes, providing support on various projects, and ensuring data accuracy and efficiency within the organization. This role involves collaborating with multiple departments to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and support strategic initiatives. The analyst will assist in developing and implementing automated processes, managing data, analyzing and consolidating data, generating reports, and continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

  • B.S./B.A. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant combination of education/experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in roles such as business analyst or process improvement analyst, or relevant internship experience or academic projects related to business analysis or process improvement.
  • Proficiency in process analysis and improvement techniques.
  • Experience with Power Suite tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate), demonstrated by developing dashboards and automating workflows in academic or internship settings.
  • Understanding of business processes and requirements gathering, shown by conducting stakeholder interviews and documenting requirements in academic projects or internships.
  • Ability to create detailed documentation and reports, evidenced by writing comprehensive process documentation and reports in academic or internship settings.
  • Project management skills, with experience managing small projects, including planning, executing, and closing projects in academic or internship settings.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and identify improvement opportunities, demonstrated by analyzing process issues and proposing solutions in academic projects or internships.
  • Experience with workflow automation and optimization, using tools like Power Automate to streamline processes in academic or internship settings.
  • Communication and presentation skills, developed through presenting findings and recommendations in academic or internship settings.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, shown by multitasking and prioritizing work in academic or internship settings.
  • Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, demonstrated by defining and tracking KPIs in academic projects or internships.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct basic process analysis to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, using data analysis techniques.
  • Assist in developing and implementing process improvement plans and strategies, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support process improvement workshops and training sessions to gather input and share best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements for process improvements.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and root causes of process issues, using tools like Power BI.
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to stakeholders, summarizing findings and proposed solutions.
  • Monitor and track the progress of process improvement projects, ensuring timelines and goals are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends to inform process improvement efforts.
