Requirements

  • High school diploma (DES) or equivalent experience required
  • Precision and exactness when carrying out manual work, observation skills
  • Autonomous
  • Manual dexterity
  • Timeliness
  • Lift up to 25 lbs, and standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player
  • English - spoken and written
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar position or equivalent experience would be a bonus

Nice To Haves

  • French – spoken and written (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting and assembling the lenses in preparation for the different types of AR treatments according to established procedures (SOPs) and apply the treatments according to the indications received and production standards.
  • Inspecting lenses to ensure that they are optically and cosmetically accurate.
  • Checking lenses and frames to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Lens marking
  • Lens cleaning
  • Verification of lenses
  • Preparing lenses for coating
  • Preparing finished product for shipping
  • Quality controlling defects in lenses
