About The Position

Box is seeking to add consultative and technical expertise to its Technology Consulting team to address sophisticated and technically complex customer needs. This role involves solving customer challenges through thought leadership and technical domain expertise, enabling large enterprises to transform their businesses using Box's cloud content management platform. Responsibilities include advising enterprises on application design, assisting with large-scale data migrations, and integrating Box into custom systems like CRMs.

Requirements

2+ years of technical experience.
2+ years of customer-facing experience, preferably in a consultative role.
2+ years of experience working with SaaS and Cloud technologies.
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment where ambiguity is common.
Ability to effectively speak to both technical and non-technical parties.
Comfortable working with one or more of the following: Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or .NET.
Understanding of the application development lifecycle.
Understanding of RESTful API design concepts.
Experience with scripting against APIs.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with OAuth, SAML, OpenID, Active Directory and/or Single Sign-on standards.
Developed an application.
Exposed to or have some experience with DBA and/or ETL.
Experience with information security.
Familiarity with iOS and/or Android mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

Advise enterprises on how to design applications for custom document vaults.
Help customers migrate millions of files into Box.
Advise enterprises on how to best integrate Box into their custom CRM.
Solve customer challenges through thought leadership and technical domain expertise.
Drive successful outcomes by collaborating across Box.
