About The Position

As an Infant or Toddler Associate Teacher, you will collaborate with colleagues to support children's well-being and development. You will help implement curriculum and lesson plans, support inquiry-based activities, and foster children's curiosity and progress toward individual, age-appropriate milestones, which you will track. The role involves engaging children through positive language, loving care, and interactive play; closely supervising them in accordance with New York State regulations and Playto policies; and providing families with daily app updates. Applicants should love working with young learners, value children's capacity to learn, believe families deserve a partner in high-quality childcare, and build trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to New York and have independent US work authorization. The position includes sitting and standing for extended periods, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, and frequently moving or lifting children weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.

Requirements

Be based in or willing to relocate to New York.
Possess independent US work authorization.
Be CPR and First Aid certified, or be willing to obtain certification.
Complete a background check and other training.

A CDA or associate degree.
