G ENERAL P URPOSE OF J OB : Under the direct supervision of the teacher, the Associate Teacher Pool will fill in for the absent staff and will assist in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children that encourages their social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. The Associate Teacher Pool shall maintain positive relationships with parents, children and co-workers. E SSENTIAL D UTIES AND R ESPONSIBILITIES : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED
- Meet federal as well as Texas State Requirements and maintain credentials for the position
- Food Handlers Certification must be obtained within 1 week of hire.
- CPR and First Aide Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- 15 hours of Early Childhood and one-year related experience in a child development center including experience with the NAEYC Accreditation process
Responsibilities
- Maintains utmost level of confidentiality at all times.
- Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
- Assist with documentation and record keeping
