As the Associate Systems Developer you will be a member of an integral team responsible for developing system-based solutions by formulating programs, developing and maintaining codes and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will collaboratively contribute to the team’s initiatives with the support and guidance of your team members.

Requirements

  • Modern Version of Angular (12+) and related libraries
  • Node using Express and Typescript for APIs
  • Bootstrap and responsive layouts
  • Reactive programming using RXJS
  • Version Control Systems like Git
  • Writing unit and end 2 end test in frameworks
  • Internationalization (i18n)
  • Accessibility using WCAG level 2AA
  • Working with 3rd Party APIs
  • Using Design Systems
  • 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Completed post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Developing new code and leveraging existing code to implement system features of medium to large complexity
  • Creating an implementation and troubleshooting plan for single system
  • Identifying and creating solutions for application defects, determining root causes and minimizing the introduction of new defects
  • Performing unit testing and project management activities for small to medium sized initiatives
