About The Position

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Associate Surgical Technician for full-time day-shift opportunities across multiple California locations. In this hands-on surgical role, you will work alongside surgeons, nurses, and other perioperative professionals to prepare operating rooms, maintain sterile technique, organize instruments and supplies, and provide essential support throughout surgical procedures. Offering a competitive salary of $84,000 – $112,000 annually, this opportunity is designed for Surgical Technicians with recent scrub experience who value precision, teamwork, and the fast-paced environment of surgical care. You'll play an important role in maintaining an efficient, safe, and well-prepared operating room while contributing directly to successful procedures and positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
  • Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience working in a surgical setting as a Surgical Scrub Technician
  • Strong understanding of sterile technique, infection prevention, surgical instrumentation, and operating room procedures
  • Ability to anticipate procedural needs and work effectively alongside surgeons, nurses, and other members of the surgical team
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) upon hire
  • Experience supporting a variety of surgical specialties and procedures
  • Familiarity with surgical instrumentation, equipment setup, and supply management
  • Experience working within an acute care hospital operating room
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain efficiency and sterile technique throughout complex procedures
  • One (1) to two (2) years of professional experience preferred for the position level
