About The Position

The Boeing Company, specifically Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Management Analyst to join their Material Management team in Bridgeton, MO. This role involves applying change and planning decisions to optimize supply chain solutions, coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders such as company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers, and customers. The analyst will incorporate Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into production plans, coordinate part number attributes, verify the correct implementation of the released engineering BOM in the material planning system, release and maintain orders, document and resolve order delinquencies, and report schedule adherence issues. Additionally, the position requires applying developed solutions to inventory plans, analyzing and resolving inventory discrepancies, physically handling inventory, creating schedules for products and services, and coordinating and supporting process improvements, all while working under general supervision.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management
  • 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • 1+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems including the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory control functions
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • 3+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems including the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory control functions

Responsibilities

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain
  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers
  • Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan
  • Coordinates part number attributes
  • Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system

  • Reports schedule adherence issues
  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans
  • Analyzes and resolves inventory discrepancies
