About The Position

Saab, Inc. has a career opportunity for a motivated, results-oriented Associate Supplier Program Manager (ASPM) to join the Supply Chain team. In this role, you will make significant contributions across a variety of programs while supporting Senior and Lead Supplier Program Managers. Additionally, you will have direct responsibility for managing a smaller program, providing an opportunity to develop advanced supplier program management skills and broader supply chain experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of professional or internship experience in project or program management, legal/compliance, or business development.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate across multiple disciplines.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with business analysis, strategic planning, or market research.
  • Exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM), Agile methodologies, or Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Experience using project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Continuous Improvement experience or Green Belt certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day execution of a small program, including tracking tasks, schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), EVM-lite, schedule health, cost performance, and risk/issue status.
  • Support Senior and Lead Supplier Program Managers by consolidating program data and preparing briefings, dashboards, and status reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Assist in program planning, baseline management, scope control, and documentation (e.g., schedules, risk registers, staffing plans).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, contracts, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Support proposal development, pricing strategies, and forward-looking program planning initiatives.
  • Contribute to internal reviews, customer meetings, and executive briefings as part of regular program cadence activities.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ITAR, DFARS).
