About The Position

StubHub's Strategy & Analytics team is looking for an associate with experience in live event ticketing and/or at a sports team or league to help scale our Open Distribution Partnerships initiative – a high-visibility growth driver for the company. The Partnerships group works with live events organizers – including sports teams & leagues, concert promoters, festivals, and other rights holders – to advance their ticketing strategy and improve fan access by leveraging StubHub as a distribution channel. Within the Partnerships group, our Strategy & Analytics team owns all data analysis, financial forecasting, deal valuation, performance measurement, and strategic advisory work throughout the partnerships lifecycle. This role will focus on optimizing the performance of our largest partnerships (especially with major sports organizations) via best-in-class strategy & advisory support, proactive opportunity identification, and actionable data insights. This associate will interface with partners and serve as their internal champion across the company – with projects involving the entire business (e.g., Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations). This role will also support with pre-deal opportunity analysis and pitch/proposal preparation.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of work experience, including direct experience in a strategy, analytics, business intelligence, or similar function at a live event ticketing company, sports team/league, or sports/entertainment agency
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, with ability to independently drive data-driven insights
  • Strong communication skills, with significant experience presenting pitches, findings, and recommendations to leadership
  • Experience managing or working with senior-level internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Excel / PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • experience with Tableau, Hex, Snowflake, and AI-powered data tools helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Cultivating, growing, and retaining StubHub’s largest live event partners, including but not limited to major sports organizations
  • Serving as an internal champion and advocate for partners’ product, data, and related requirements
  • Providing partners with best-in-class strategy & advisory support
  • Tracking and optimizing partnership performance and identifying opportunities for partnership expansion
  • Collaborating closely with the Open Distribution Sales and Product teams to provide white-glove partner management
  • Supporting the development of value-add partnership structures, complex financial models and deal forecasts, and proposal and RFP deliverables
  • Leveraging relevant data to support partnership negotiations and operations
