About The Position

We are hiring for multiple openings of positions Associate Sterile Processing Technician in the Sterile Process Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK! Currently available schedules: Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Variable shift, (primary shift will likely be evening shift, Mon-Fri 2:00PM-10:30PM), 40hours per week. Applicants that meet qualifications will receive an invite with additional screening questions from our HireVue system! Sterile Processing Technicians collect, clean, decontaminate, disinfect, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and reusable medical devices according to established standards. They assure that instruments and equipment are safe and ready for patient use when needed. Meticulous attention to detail is an essential function of this position. Requirements

• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association.
• Or Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in sterile processing or Operating Room.
