About The Position

The OR Core Technician receives case carts from CP for surgical procedures, picks suture and gloves for each procedure, and clears cases. They assist room staff by ensuring carts are organized and supplies are accessible for quick retrieval. The OR Core Tech is responsible for maintaining core inventory, performing cycle counts and managing outdates, keeping the core area orderly, filling warmers, rotating stock, wrapping core items, and maintaining a clean, safe workplace. Requirements

  • National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire
  • National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Upon hire: Current certification as Central Processing Technician or current certification as OR Technician
  • Experience in Sterile Processing.
