This role is part of Alcon's Quality & Regulatory Affairs function, a team that ensures our products are in compliance with global, local, and internal regulations and meet the strictest standards of quality as we help people see brilliantly. The Associate Specialist, Final Inspection is primarily responsible for handling complex technical tasks, including inspection, testing, and analysis of products and raw materials using various analytical techniques and lab equipment. You will make significant decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Specifics include: In this role, a typical day will include: Perform inspections for product quality of final product using calibrated measurement equipment to verify against specifications. Complete documentation relating to product inspection and enter data into the electronic systems, such as MES, SAP or LIMS. Communicate defect information to supervisor and quality assurance for corrective actions. Ensure the inspections of material are completed per SOP and quality standards, while meeting the production plan. Work closely with teammates and internal customers. Assist with training of lab associates. Participate in day-to-day business activities, safety, quality, and training needs. ISO/FDA/GMP compliance. Assist with 5S cleaning procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • 1 Year of Relevant Experience
  • Work hours: H Shift; 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM / Rotating Schedule / Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday / Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
