About The Position

The Boeing Company, Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate Space Vehicle Controller - Analyst (Level 2) to join their team in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This role is responsible for the command and control of space vehicles (SV), monitoring telemetry, and executing and verifying products loaded onto the SV. The position involves ensuring the integrity of the ground system and command path to support the mission. The selected candidate will use MS-Windows or UNIX based computers for operational plan development and data analysis to support future contact planning or anomaly resolution. They will coordinate with management and peers to ensure high-quality operational products, including procedures, tools, detailed event logging, and system configuration. The role requires analyzing technical data, verifying, and sustaining specific system configurations according to defined constraints and operational requirements. Additionally, the Associate Space Vehicle Controller - Analyst will monitor system performance and control system elements by executing commands to change system configurations to achieve mission objectives, and may support future system testing and integration requirements. The selected candidate will receive specialized training for ground and SV configuration management to obtain necessary certifications.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Successful completion of a certification program (post start)
  • Requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required).
  • A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with coding/scripting with various languages (MATLAB, Pearl, etc.)
  • Experience working with space vehicles

Responsibilities

  • Command and control of space vehicles (SV)
