About The Position

Thomson Reuters is seeking an End-to-End Associate Solutions Architect to play a critical role in shaping and delivering the transformational architecture strategy for multi-billion dollar, multi-national enterprise transformation programs. This role is essential for onboarding commercial services through both digital channels and enterprise platforms. As part of a leading provider of intelligent information, you will work with industry experts on diverse projects to create next-generation solutions, contributing to the advancement of the global knowledge economy and Thomson Reuters' business. You will be a technical leader, stakeholder manager, decision-maker, team player, innovator, and effective communicator, translating business requirements into actionable architectures and defining solution roadmaps. You will also be responsible for architectural design, ensuring alignment with the overall technology strategy, and participating in governance structures like the Design Authority and Solution Review board.

Requirements

  • Wide variety of Solutions Architecture experience across multiple business contexts.
  • Consulting experience with a strong track record at a leading IT consultancy or large corporate.
  • Experience working with agile teams and methodologies and globally distributed teams.
  • Solid experience in key features and capabilities provided by market-leading CRM and Self-Service platforms.
  • Solid experience in integration of CRM to Self-Service platforms.
  • Solid experience in integration of CRM to ERP, Middleware and Web Content Management Systems.
  • Solid experience in application security best practices.
  • Solid track record of experience within Blue Chip clients.
  • Development/Systems background with experience across the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience in developing solution architectures.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining Business process, Data Model, system, sequence and process flow diagrams.
  • Experience in working with diverse teams, including multi-country and company teams.
  • Experience managing or directing work of others to contribute to a shared goal.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive mindset.
  • Organized and methodical approach.
  • Good understanding of AWS cloud services mainly AWS Lambda, API gateway, RDS PostgreSQL and S3.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred – certification in TOGAF or other architecture framework.
  • Preferred – certification in AWS or other Cloud vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Research and recommend technical standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate and engage with external and internal stakeholders such as business teams, product owners, and project management in defining roadmaps for products and processes.
  • Act as a point of contact in resolving stakeholder issues.
  • Make quick and effective data-driven decisions with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, sharing information and valuing diverse ideas.
  • Continuously update yourself with next-generation technology, development tools, and contribute to process development practices.
  • Work with business owners to translate requirements into actionable architectures.
  • Define and update solution roadmaps for the architectures in which you are involved.
  • Provide architectural design for future and existing enterprise transformation programs, ensuring technology components fit the overall technology strategy.
  • Ensure architecture is communicated, understood, and adhered to.
  • Work as part of the Design Authority structure.
  • Work with vendor partners.
  • Participate in the Solution Review board to ensure solutions are governed appropriately.
  • Analyze and support in addressing application performance issues.
  • Experience in defining target architecture designs and roadmaps.
  • Experience in data migration between systems.
