Requirements

Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Bachelor’s degree in progress or recently completed in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of relevant experience.
Exposure to web and software development through academic, internship, or early professional experience; Government/defense project exposure is a plus.
Strong willingness to learn, good communication skills, and basic problem-solving ability.
Any clearance requirements for this position are established by the government contract.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of SQL and databases is helpful.

Responsibilities

Assist in gathering user requirements and help translate them into basic software solutions with guidance from senior developers.
Write and maintain simple, functional code under the supervision of more experienced team members.
Support web development tasks and provide basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
Demonstrate foundational knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Python, Java, or C#; basic understanding of SQL and databases is helpful.
Learn and begin applying Agile methodologies and participate in team sprints and stand-ups.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to collaborative problem-solving.
Show enthusiasm for learning new technologies, frameworks, and tools relevant to the team’s work.
Collaborate with team members to help deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
Attend team planning and design sessions to build understanding of project goals.
Support testing and assist in verifying software functionality and performance.
Provide user support for minor technical issues and escalate as needed.
