About The Position

The SEL Government Services Department is seeking a team-oriented candidate to conduct white and black box testing of devices and software for security flaws and vulnerabilities. The role involves identifying areas of concern and providing recommendations for an improved cybersecurity stance. This position requires staying up-to-date with current security vulnerabilities and mitigation processes. US Citizenship is required.

Requirements

B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Typically 2+ years experience in one or more areas: Object Oriented and/or Embedded Programming (C, C++, C#, Python).
Network Communications (IS and/or ICS Protocols).
Digital Forensics- Reverse Engineering.
US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

Conduct white and black box testing of devices and software for security flaws and vulnerabilities.
Identify areas of concern and recommendations for an improved cybersecurity stance.
Stay up to date with current security vulnerabilities and mitigation processes.
Participate in the design, implementation, and test of firmware/software systems.
Understand hardware and software interactions, and collaborate with Hardware Engineers.
Prepare and maintain designs and test documentation.
Mentor Associate Engineers and Technicians.
