We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our growing cloud engineering team to build, maintain, and optimize scalable, high-performing serverless and containerized applications in AWS. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying efficient cloud-native solutions using Python and GoLang. You will work closely with a highly collaborative engineering team, leveraging modern technologies and industry-approved AI tools to streamline software delivery, optimize system performance, and automate tasks. Requirements

  • HS Diploma
  • 2+ years of software development experience (academic or professional) using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or C++)
  • 1+ years experience working with AWS Cloud Services or Cloud Practitioner Certification
  • 1+ years experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and writing basic unit tests

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Experience utilizing generative AI assistants or enterprise-approved AI tools to accelerate development workflows
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipeline concepts
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications utilizing AWS serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS on Fargate).
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code primarily in Python, with potential opportunities to develop in GoLang.
  • Utilize Terraform as the primary Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool to provision and manage AWS cloud resources.
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline software engineering workflows, automate routine development tasks, and drive continuous improvements in code quality.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and product stakeholders to help design, test, and release robust software solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging trends in software engineering and cloud technologies to inform solution design and drive strategic innovation.
  • Comply with enterprise security protocols, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing serverless applications to ensure high performance and availability.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
