As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be a part of our Frontend Engineering team, focusing on delivering products and capabilities that power Justworks products. You will leverage your experience working with customer-facing applications and design with performance and security in mind. You will be working primarily in JavaScript/TypeScript and prior experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Experience building web applications
- Comfortable ramping up on an existing product quickly
- Mastered at least one frontend framework
- Know how to build highly reliable, modular systems that many people can collaborate on at the same time without stepping on each other’s toes
- Strong sense for good design
- Experience with JS/HTML/CSS and at least one framework such as React, Vue, etc
- Working knowledge in at least one server side language, such as Ruby, Python, Golang, etc
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in JavaScript/TypeScript is preferred.

- Research design patterns and propose technical solutions to common web UI/UX problems
